We often use your existing Heating boiler and radiators and add simple controls to your radiators and a thermostatic control to your hot water cylinder. This will give you room by room control of your heating and temperature control of your hot water which will make your home more comfortable and at the same time it will save on those expensive home heating bills .

An open fire-place , whether it is solid fuel or gas , will allow 70% of the heat from the room to escape up the chimney .

Solid fuel stoves or wood burning stoves , with a boiler attached , is another way to go. In most cases the stove boiler can be connected to your existing heating system . You would then have the option to use your gas or oil boiler, or you could light your new solid fuel stove and heat radiators as well .
